During the 2020-2021 academic year, CYBER.ORG convened a team of K-12 educators, higher ed faculty, and state and district personnel to establish K-12 cybersecurity education expectations that as of August 2021, are available for all states and districts to adopt.
This new initiative is aimed at bolstering foundational cybersecurity education and increasing the pipeline of cybersecurity talent in all communities across the nation. These standards will offer increased access to cybersecurity education opportunities for students that will prepare them to enter the workforce or to expand their studies in college.
