CIRCLS has negotiated a hotel rate for attendees. Registered participants must book the hotel by October 1. See your registration confirmation email for more information.

How to Register

The CIRCLS biannual convening brings together investigators who receive funding from the National Science Foundation’s RETTL program on emerging technologies, as well as others doing work in this field. This includes but is not limited to teachers, developers, emerging scholars.

The registration form is being emailed to members of our community. If you identify as a principal investigator who receives RETTL funding and have not been emailed, please contact us at circls-contact@digitalpromise.org.

How to Get to the Meeting Location

Traveling by Air

There are three airports you can fly into:
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (approximately 4.5 miles to the hotel)
Washington Dulles International Airport (approximately 30 miles to the hotel)
Baltimore-Washington International Airport (approximately 45 miles to hotel)

Traveling by Train and Public Transportation

Amtrak: Alexandria Station (ALX) is approximately .6 miles from the venue
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA): The closest metro station is the King St-Old Town Metrorail Station on the Blue and Yellow lines. It is approximately .4 miles from the venue.

COVID Protocol

While attending the in person event, we are asking all convening attendees to stay home if you are feeling sick. We also ask that you do not attend or participate in the convening if you meet any of the following:

You have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not completed the CDC’s guidelines for discontinuing isolation.

You are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

You have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and you have not completed the quarantine guidelines recommended by the CDC.
