Faculty Positions at the School of Interactive Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Interactive Computing (IC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) invites applications for several anticipated faculty positions at all levels of seniority. They seek applications in the broader areas of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), including their intersections, and with an emphasis in Data and Information Visualization, Social Computing, Privacy, and theoretical/applied Machine Learning. These areas are of strategic importance to the school, as they build on their strong hiring in similar areas within the past several years. They will also consider truly outstanding candidates in other areas that support the school’s mission and expand it in strategic directions. For instance, the College of Computing has added a new academic unit, the School of Cybersecurity and Privacy, which is a sister school of IC. A number of IC faculty will also be leading or participating in two AI institutes funded recently by the National Science Foundation; efforts that underscore the College’s and Institute’s goal to expand in AI and related areas in the coming years.

Preference will be given to applications submitted before December 1, 2021, but they will continue accepting applications until the positions are filled.
